Overview

En-Quercetin™ (Enzymatically Modified Isoquercitrin, EMIQ) is a functional ingredient developed using our proprietary glycosylation technology, which significantly enhances the absorption, stability and bioavailability of quercetin. Quercetin is a naturally occurring flavonoid known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-modulating properties. However, conventional quercetin is limited by its poor water solubility and low intestinal absorption, which restrict its practical application and physiological effectiveness. By enzymatically attaching glucose moieties to the quercetin backbone, En-Quercetin™ overcomes these inherent limitations, enabling improved solubility, enhanced stability, and superior bioavailability, thereby maximizing the functional potential of quercetin in food, beverage, and nutraceutical applications.
